The Castleknock Cycling Club Kit was designed by a Club Sub-Committee and following a meeting of all Club Members the style was approved and new gear ordered in December 2015. The kit is supplied by Velo Revolution an Irish supplier based in Cork, with the garments manufactured in Italy. The Castleknock strip is getting excellent reviews out on the road, both visually and from a comfort level.

Your kit is designed to last many years if cared for carefully – wash it at maximum 30 degrees and only spin dry. Yes it is tight – that’s called Race Fit and serves a purpose. Tight fitting cycling kit prevents the garments flapping and causing significant drag – you know that dreaded parachute effect!

We expect to place an order for gear top ups about twice a year, to meet the needs of our growing club. Only gear which is ordered by members in advance will be ordered by the club. Members will be notified a few weeks in advance of order placement and a 50% deposit on all items is required when order is being placed.

With each delivery, we offer members the opportunity to have an informal fitting, getting to try on the different items and sizes.

Below is a list of kit available to order by members and the price of each. Orders can only be placed subject to minimum orders reaching 10 per item.

Sizing
As ever the cut of each garment is ‘Race Fit’, designed to be pretty tight, providing anatomical muscle compression and leaving no material flapping in the wind. This is important as we still have too many riders struggling in windy conditions as their loose garments are essentially parachutes! So tight is good, however if you prefer a little more comfort, order a size up.

Sizings transfer across garments, so if you are a Large in your short sleeve jersey, you’ll be a Large in the Gillet/Long Sleeve etc. Note our Bib Tights and Shorts are available with Male or Female fitting – so please specify carefully!

We do need to secure a minimum of 10 orders for any 1 item style (e.g. a jersey) to proceed with manufacture. After compiling our order, each customer will then receive a PayPal invoice from the Club Treasurer. Orders must be fully paid for by Wednesday 29th March to allow us to proceed with the order in time for delivery in mid May.
